Ann Apolloni Massage Therapist (Remedial Massage) & Visionary Craniosacral Worker ®

Ann Apalloni massage therapistAnn has always had a keen interest in health, wellness and natural therapies and began actively pursuing studies in 2007.  Ann is very happy now working solely in this area having ‘retired’ from her previous career in medical research to do so. Ann loves to learn and to bring this new learning into her treatments for her clients. We’re very lucky to have had Ann as part our little team at Niggles & Knots since we expanded to our larger premise in 2014. She finished up with us just before Christmas 2020, and we wish her all the best on her next adventure setting up her own clinic – she treats at Bardon Councelling center and offers some mobile treatments.

Ann’s passion is the healing power of touch and helping people to reconnect with their own body’s innate ability to heal.  Ann is completely fascinated at how everything in the body is connected.  She follows the philosophy that when we focus on a particular part of the body in our treatments, in reality it is never in isolation and the rest of the body is ‘treated’ as well.  Her studies in anatomy (Gil Hedley Integral Anatomy) and Visionary Craniosacral Work ® (Hugh Milne “The Heart of Listening”)  show how profound these connections are. She enjoys sharing this philosophy, knowledge and skills with her clients.

Other interesting things about Ann

Ann loves her beautiful son, her cats, Samoyed dogs and yoga practice. She very much enjoys bushwalking and walk Mt Coot-tha regularly – she finds that being out in nature is a mind clearing and nurturing experience.
