We recommend you plan to arrive for your treatment at least 10 minutes before your first session, and 5 minutes before any subsequent session. We have a lovely big reception that we keep cool in summer and warm in winter, with a stock of herbal teas, water and interesting magazines to read, so come and get in the mood, chill out before your treatment and make the most of the “me” time.
We understand that life is busy, and we try to be as flexible and amenable to your needs as possible. However, we do have some policies that may apply in the case of lateness or short-notice cancellation:
We will do everything we can to ensure you receive your full treatment time. However if you arrive late and we have appointments immediately after, your therapist may only be able to offer you your remaining time. In this case, we retain the right to charge full treatment fee.
We recommend you plan on arriving 5-15 minutes before your appointment time in order to relax in our spacious reception & make the most of your massage.
In respect to our wait-listed clients, and also to our therapists who as small business owners in their own right, we request a minimum of 24 hours notice to change or cancel an appointment. If you provide less and we are unable to fill your appointment, our policy is to apply a cancellation fee equivalent to your treatment cost. Your therapist is the only person who is able to waive this fee if your appointment time remains unfilled – please ask to speak directly to your therapist about this if you feel application of a cancellation fee is unjust for any reason.
We do understand that unexpected things happen sometimes – if you can’t give us 24 hours notice, please give us as much notice as possible – the more notice you give us, the more likely we will be able to fill your appointment with one of our wait-listed clients, and hence be able to ensure we can waive the cancellation fee.
Please note that if you simply do not show up to your appointment, or if you cancel at very short notice, your therapist may also require pre-payment of future appointments to confirm them.
